Doune and Dunblane Show, 4th July 2009

CSSA set up stall at its second agricultural show at Doune and Dunblane. Unlike Central and West Fife, the weather was very kind and the sun shone all day. However, our pitch was on a slope, which presented Andrew, Janis and Jo, who were on the first shift, with a bit of a challenge. Linz, Daye and Karen took the middle shift with Jane Ann, Rosemary and Daniel bringing up the rear, so to speak.

By lunchtime, the early shift had secured three new members and given out a number of forms. Which is good, because the back shift failed to recruit any!

Once again, the stand looked really good, so thanks to Carol for all the work she put in.

A special show offer ran on the day - anyone joining at the show would be entered in the prize draw to win "Choosing and Keeping Chickens". The winner was Mr Clive Kilgour and his prize has been dispatched.
